2014 German Wines -- An Introduction to the Vintage as I Begin My Visits

I have not posted for a while, but I am now in Germany to begin tastings. I start tomorrow morning at 9am with Dönnhoff in the Nahe (continuing with Emrich-Schönleber, Schäfer-Fröhlich, and Wagner-Stempel -- it should be quite a day!). I will taste all this week, and on Monday and Tuesday of next week, I will attend the Wiesbaden Grosses Gewächs preview.
