2012 Bourgogne-Hautes-Côtes-de-Beaune blanc
This wine is entirely from Pinot Gris, known in Burgundy as Pinot Beurot. The wine is nervy and shows breadth but no depth. Very fine acidity here. 86/B

2012 Morey-Saint-Denis   Clos Solon
The Morey “Clos Solon” has smoky blackberry aromas. The mouth shows richness, minerality, and blackberry fruit with good length. This is a very successful village wine. 91/A

2012 Chambolle-Musigny   La Bussière
The Chambolle has mineral dark fruit aromas. The mouth is broad and rather rich with some power and mineral dark berry flavors. 89/A-

2012 Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru – Les Ruchots
The Ruchots has perfumed red fruit aromas with a touch of cinnamon. The mouth is medium-weight with an impression of moderate acidity, a smooth texture, and spicy red fruits. 90+/B+

2012 Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru – La Riotte
The nose of Jouan's Riotte nose features spicy mustard plant and fine perfume. The mouth is broad and nervy with red fruit and a touch of cinnamon. Like the Ruchots, this wine could gain in interest with some cellaring. 90+/B+

2012 Charmes-Chambertin

The nose of the Charmes-Chambertin shows blackberry fruit. The mouth is medium-full, long, and rustic with blackberries. 92/B+
